my latest and greatest...

yay! I got it up! If anyone is in the vicinity, you can check this out at Union County College in Cranford, NJ (in the commons area). It will be up until the end of Nov (05). Title is "Flight Machine #1" and it is made of a steel frame covered in lycra with two working propellors on each end. It is approx 30 ft long. Ugh the joys of motherhood- just as I am uploading this my 3 yr old discovered what happens when you stick your fingers down your throat-gross!

it just occurred to me that

it just occurred to me that i never posted about meeting ripemama at the reception for the opening of the exhibit a couple of weeks ago. the piece is really awesome - the photos truly don't do it justice. it was by far the best piece in the show, in my unbiased opinion! :D ds really dug it too. it was the first thing he noticed when he walked into the space, which is a pretty unusual response to art for a kid who spends a lot of time off in his own little world...

yay!
