Hello, introducing myself

Hello everyone! I'm Michelle, 29yo, newish mom of a 1yo little girl. I'm from NJ but work in NYC doing "office" work.

On the side I'm illustrating a children's book for an independant publisher and I'm almost done with my first book (well, technically their fourth, but my very first professional and published work)! I'm very excited about it, the author/publisher is very hapy with me and is already discussing plans for the next book in the series.

So yes, I am a busy mama.

This sounds like a cool site, referred to me by another artist mommy who joined. I'm not sure yet what her screen name is here but I'm sure I'll bump into her soon.

Hello everyone, thanks. I haven't been here in a while.

Well, the book I was working on is currently at the printer's and will be available in July I believe, definitely this summer though. It's called "My Grandmother Is A Delta" written by Audra P. Jackson. she likes me so much she wants to use me for the rest of her series (5 more books). cool huh? I'm so excited!
