"The Future Generation: Anarchist Parenting and Community"

As a young, anarchist, mother I felt I was setting down an unmarked path. I didn't know many others like myself and started a zine in 1990 “The Future Generation� to share information and create a radical parent network. My core beliefs have stayed the same over the years: parents need to be supported, not ostracized and alienated. Oppression starts at birth; so does resistance. However we can’t do it alone, we need our community

China Martens is a single mother of a 18 year old daughter and the editor of "Future Generation: a Zine-Book for Subculture Parents, Kids, Friends & Others" (an anthology of the last 15 years of her zine!) published by Atomic Books.

Also joined by Vikki Law. Vikki Law is a mother, photographer, writer and the editor of the zines "Mama Sez No War" and "Family Values: A Parental Approach to the Republican National Convention.

Well, thats the description I send them. There is some confusion if Vikki can come at this point, because I haven't heard back which day our workshop is on. And of course the zine-book won't be out by then after all! But thats ok, I'll bring a bunch of zines and just spread the news that its gonna. I don't know any more details now. But this is a pretty big event and this workshop will be part of the Kidz Program which I heard is pretty extensive. So you should come! :)
