*Call for Presenters*

In 2005, the Edmonton Anarchist Bookfair provided
anarchists, activists, and the simply curious the
opportunity to learn, share ideas and connect with
others. Vendors and speakers from all over Western
Canada came with their books, zines and clothes, and
screened movies and presented workshops to almost 1000 people over the three day event. Workshops introduced such topics as: "From Anarcho-Syndicalism to Solidarity Unionism", "Activism and Families", "Feminism,
Activism and Identity" and historical and religious perspectives on anarchism.

The *2006 Edmonton Anarchist Bookfair*, will again create a forum to explore ideas and learn from each other.

We are inviting presentations that address:

1. Current or historical horizontal community
organizing
2. Current or historical perspectives on anarchism
3. Community organizing in other countries
4. Skill Sharing
5. Other topics of interest

Note: Preference will be given to workshops and
presentations that are interactive and directly link
topics with Anarchy and/or Anarchism.

Limited assistance for travel and billeting may be
available for out of town presenters. The specific
amount will be contingent upon the success of our
fundraising.

*Instructions to submit an abstract*:

- Complete the attached abstract form
- Include your name, affiliation if any, and contact
information
- Indicate your presentation type (oral presentation
or workshop), and themes covered
- Include a 1 page abstract

oh cool i always miss this, cause i never know when it is.
i was at a workshop a few weeks ago, put on by the edmonton small press association and they had "tenacious"! i was so excited!
