Greetings from Kansas City

Hello everyone!

I just discovered this site and am really enjoying it. I'm a new freelance writer. I had a piece published in Kansas City Wellness in May, I've got a book review coming up in Library Journal, a cd review coming up in SageWoman, and I'm on assignment for Spotlight on Recovery.

Since my writing isn't paying nearly what I deserve, and since I was laid off from my job at Center for Spiritual Living in May, I'm also jobhunting. Monday I have an interview at the bookstore at Unity Village.

I just got married November 14, and have two kids from my previous marriage, ages 9 and 10. I have joint custody with their dad, so they are with me every other week. My husband also has a 4-year-old, who spends weekends with us.

I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.
