I am so excited! I just found out my zine-book had a price on it, and I couldn't believe it, I had to email atomic books to hear it was TRUE. It's true!

LOOK! Its $16.95 ! That is just blowing me away. it feels real now, you know. It has a price. I mean thats like....Two years I have been working on this, and its a compilation of my zine - The Future Generation - of the last 17 years.... and it just seems like such a funny little price, to put all my heart and soul into. Its so possible. LIKE you can order one, and its really great, really.... I promise you. Its worth it! I am happy with how it all came out finally... and you can have one. And maybe someone can buy one, and discard it one day (silly them) and then it will go to a used bookstore, and like 20 years later, somebody might pick up this old zine book for a few dollars and take it home - and love it. and wonder about me. I mean, this is so cool!

I am so happy to have this book to share with folks---and to be able to finally post the news on mamaphonic! - I have to tell a million people about this now! I want to email everyone I know! I have to figure out some press thing you do, now, like write something that can be cut and paste and shared and spread. The zine-book is available for pre-order! Tell your friends! I don't even have a press packet or anything, I mean I am working on things, but its so funny...its so funny for such a big thing to be happening (in my life) and I am just running to keep up, I'm gonna hand color in fliers and send them to people to put up, and we have a tour (go check it out at Ariels website, its the "Crazy Dreams and Ideals Radical Mama Book tour) - and the book release party in baltimore is on April 28. I need to find a dress. I need to get it together. I need to get the press together.

(secretly though, I still kinda believe I am playing make-believe. I am sure I will probally be in a state of shock when I see my first book back from the printers)
