Thank you!!!!!!

Did I ever tell you that I wrote a children's book in graduate school about having an incarcerated parent after doing a graduate internship with the now-defunct Family Support Program for Ex-Offenders in Austin? Never could find a publisher for it...

on their way to you

expect the last 2 issues of "Tenacious" to arrive soon(ish).

and no, you never told me about the children's book you wrote. You might want to dig it out and shop it around again. The prison=industrial complex isn't getting any smaller, but there's a revived interest in prisons and prisoner issues (and more public interest in how incarceration affects the kids who are left behind), so you might find a publisher now.
