Hi

Introductions make me feel like I'm trying to write an artists statement. My artist statement is so uncool - I like art, it makes me feel good. Making stuff is fun, maybe it's good maybe it's bad, but it is always fun.
I stumbled across your sight it's so nice to see a group of women that support one another. I hope I will be a part of a good thing.
I am the mama of 1 preschooler and 1 toddler. That says so little.
Child # 1 will grow up to be a Paelo-Bonanist, Fairy Princess artist, who will make art on the moon. I support that dream in every way I can.
Child #2 is a rambunctious, free spirited, toddler with a blood clot disorder.
There really is beauty in fear and pain, and he has brought me back to writing and my art.

Welcome to the site!

It's tough to have a child with a medical problem. My son has a serious heart murmur that needed correction via a catheter, so I feel for you.

Still, it's good that you can find art in it. Sometimes art is the only thing that gets you through.

It sounds as though you do other art besides the writing. What's it like? (Pics would be awesome, if you can manage it, but I know it's not always possible.)

welcome!

Hooray for art on the moon!

Yes, there is beauty in fear and pain. I hope you can find support for exploring that beauty (and perhaps helping you through the fear and pain when they threaten to be too overwhelming). Glad that Child #2 isn't allowing anything to stand in his way of being a rambunctious free spirit.

Welcome aboard.

Sometimes paper is the only thing that will listen to you.
