deleting out-of-date calls for submissions

Yeah, yeah, yeah...I'm never happy with what we aw-reddy have.

Was wondering if there is a way to delete and/or move submission calls whose deadlines have already passed so that when mamas look at the threads for submissions, they don't see a bunch of calls whose deadlines have come and gone and then *don't* see the one or two still open calls down at the bottom of the screen.

Just so you don't think that I'm trying to give y'all extra work, I would be willing to be the one to check the thread from time to time (I already do so) and move/delete/whatever the calls that are out of date.

Gah! Sorry I missed this one! There is a way to lock them. And delete them, in the admin panel. I'm swamped in the middle of an intense 5 week class (well, two classes, but one is spread over the usual 10 weeks and things will mellow out in August. I'll make a note to myself in my calendar to go through and cull as I have time & need a break from other stuff.

Absolutely.

ALSO, you can organize the forums by clicking on "Created" and it will switch from being oldest on top to newest on top. You can also look at things alphabetically, by how many responses it has, or when the last reply was. Just click on the headers and it'll organize ascending. Click on it again, it'll organize descending.

But yeah, no point in keeping submissions whose dates are past... :)
