I just did some testing in my Clark Kent, mild mannered librarian...er... journalist guise... I put the results there, but in case this post at some point no longer is *right* above it, the jist is: Once replied to you can no longer change a post (suppose this prevents people from starting a flame war, then changing the post & saying "but I never said blah blah blah!" when in fact they did, but that's neither here nor there). The original posting once posted can not be changed at any time, a reply can be changed until someone responds. Is what it's looking like at the moment. I think short of granting every one admin (eek! Nooo!) privs, there isn't a way around it. But I'll go do some poking none-the-less, with cheery optimism. Tomorrow or this weekend when I need a study break. :)

i've noticed that too. it seems to be that you can edit them up until someone posts a reply. i think it's just a bug - but you could probably PM Susan if there's something that really needs to be changed.
