my profile shows up in google

yes i am lame and googled my name tonight and saw that my profile comes up from this website on google. i thought this was something that only members could see? so then i went to go chage my b-day to a fake one, etc and its not letting me be born in 1955 or whatever and thats bothering me that i have to have a birthday anyways. so i am not comfortable with my e-mail address and other info about me popping up on google so easily. i know if someone wants to find me, they will, but this is just a little too easy, KWIM? is there any way to make it more private? thanks

i don't know if there is a way to make them more private (Susan?), but in the meantime, you should probably go ahead and change anything you feel uncomfortable having public. (not sure why it won't let you change your bday, though.)

edited to add: the "email address" field only shows up when you are viewing your own account profile. so unless you put it in one of the other fields (like your bio), no one but you can see it. if you log out and then view your own profile, you can check that to make sure i'm right. but i think that's true anyway.
