er, in case you hadn't noticed the deluge...

At home, I can't post, but at my work computer I can. When I found out Nicole/ Hausfrau editor could log in and post either, I emailed Susan. She said they hadn't heard from others who had this problem yet, but sometimes people don't speak up. It seems to be a systems operating problem (?) (my computer at home is on old windows) and they will look into it. Nicole still can't log in and post - so I just wanted to start a thread for this problem.

I'm hurt.

Maybe this is a boon to employers everywhere, but neither China nor I can use "Chat." I type in things and they don't appear on the screen even though it says I am logged in and IN the chatbox.

Anyone else have this problem?

Would you all/any of you be interested in mamaphonic stuff (to buy)? Bee's wanting to know if she should make up a batch of stuff for mamaphonic (no, I don't actually have any other details, likely along the lines of stuff we've had before but NEW! BETTER! NOW SHINIER!)... I think we've had stuff along the lines of t-shirts, totes & stuff.

There are some server issues with our provider which we were warned may cause some data loss if there's a server failure. It would be a good idea if there's something here that you don't want to lose to make a backup/copy of it (this is a good idea in any case & now is a fabulous time to take care of it as part of a regular thing). I've noticed all our sites are up & down right now -- so hopefully if you have something to save, you'll be able to do it before there's a (potential) catastrophic failure.

Lynn here, your hipMama family of websites techMama. I'm about to start the upgrade process for Mamaphonic. This means things will be wonky for a bit, "a bit" being possibly through Saturday, though I'm expecting less turbulence than that. I will let you know when is a good time to start submitting bug reports (hint: not yet :) ).

Why this needs to happen: The software running hipMama (Drupal) has gone through several updates since this site went live and we're woefully behind. Bee wants to add several new features and she can't until I update the underlying software. Things will work pretty much the way they do now, but things won't look exactly the same.
