Radical Parenting/Parenting Zine in North Dakota
*may expand to Midwest, please submit!

I am a single mother who’s been a single mother most of her single mothering time while living in North Dakota. Even while being against the state borders, lines that cause divisions or separation of shared lands, individuals and peoples for whatever reason – I wanted to create a zine of and for parents in North Dakota. It’s a new subject for this area of the occupied territories and you can be a mother, a father, both, step parent, adoptive parent, teen parent, older parent, whatever age parent, surrogate parent, single, married, in between, GLBTQQI, heterosexual, non-nuclear families, custodial parents, non-custodial parents … and whatever gender and sex identity.

Motherwords is a new-ish mag that might be a good place to submit stuff. They pay a very little, but..clips!

"Got something to say? Motherwords is an irreverent, realistic look at motherhood. We’re looking for submissions that capture the true essence of motherhood and serve as a "neighborhood" where mothers can share experiences and connect with one another. It's a forum for caretakers to talk about ideas and information; a place for writers to stretch their proverbial wings. We are actual moms who want to read and write about real motherhood, kids and life partners."

Hip Mama is a reader written Zine. It is the beautiful honesty and daring of the readers who write for us that makes Hip Mama what it is. There is power both in sharing your story and reading the honest words of someone else with an open mind and heart.

We also need black and white photos, that are relevant to the hip mama world. E-mail us some jpegs.

Hi everyone, Antigone Magazine is a grassroots national magazine that works to encourage young women to get involved in politics in Canada. We work to empower young women to engage politically and civically and to actively take part in leadership roles.

We are launching a Feminist Postcard art project and fundraiser but instead of asking what your secrets are, we want to know what your Dreams for Women are.

Black Book Press (the poetry zine) is still around and kicking, and we are now working towards our 32nd monthly issue. We publish 19 poets per month in a small hand made zine.
